The vast majority of our jewellery is gold or silver plated. With the appropriate care, your vintage jewellery will last for a long time. Follow these simple tips to care for your jewellery:
- Always remove your jewellery when coming in contact with water (washing your hands, showering, exercise) as water can wear the plating
- Take your jewellery off before applying lotions, perfume, or hand sanitiser
- Store your jewellery in a dry place in its pouch or a jewellery box to prevent scratches
ZERO WASTE TIP
If you are not storing your jewellery in the cotton pouch it came with, here's an idea: put dried lavender in the pouch and pop it in your drawer!
Not only will the lavender make your clothes smell amazing, but it also repels moths and other bugs.
